When I first heard, I thought it was a mistake. Hillary Clinton gave a top campaign job to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former head of the Democratic National Committee who had just been forced to resign because she got caught—really, really got caught—putting her finger on the scale for Hillary.
Roger Stone and Paulie Walnuts said they would never do anything so transparently corrupt. Not if people could see what they were doing. And not so soon.
This was really soon. And it was crazy obvious.
What is she, the ’62 Mets of corruption?
